Cape May National Golf Club
in South Jersey, is nicknamed "The Natural",
the design and construction utilized the natural terrain of
it's region, originally opened for play in 1991.
The course is situated in the midst of a 50 acre bird sanctuary and is home to
several nesting pairs of the threatened (in New Jersey) black-crowned night heron.
The aesthetic beauty of the course is
amazing.
The course consists of five Par 3's, nine Par 4's and four Par 5's and plays to a maximum distance of 6905 yards with a course rating of 73.4 and a slope of 136 over 18 holes. The course was designed to maintain environmental friendliness and still play in the classical way that golfers will love. Four sets of men's tees and a single set of ladies' tees create an enjoyable test of golf for players of all abilities.
