Reasons to Golf at Scotland Run

scotland runScotland Run is located in Williamstown, New Jersey about forty-five minutes away from Atlantic City. Recognized as a top golf course in the Philadelphia region and top fifty courses in the country, Scotland Run is a course you don’t want to miss, here’s why:

Designed by Stephen Kay

Architect Stephen Kay designed the course in 1999. What’s unique with Kay’s design is that he built the course around an old sand quarry. The course incorporates woods, links, and gravel quarry.

Hole 16

Hole 16 is the course’s most notable hole.  What makes it so unique?  Depending on the tee that is played, water is on the right and ahead of the water is an ungroomed water bunker. The bunker goes down about twenty feet. It is certainly a challenging yet rewarding hole.

Open Year Round

The weather has been unpredictable, bringing warm winters and perfect golfing weather. Scotland Run is open year round for daily-free play, group outings, and banquets.

Highlander Pub and Grill

Highlander Pub and Grill is the course’s restaurant. Open year round, Highlander welcomes both golfers and non-golfers. With a neighborhood tavern atmosphere, enjoy your favorite sandwiches, steak, seafood, pasta, etc. You can even enjoy your favorite Scottish dishes such as Shepard’s Pie.

Scotland Run is a South Jersey favorite. You’ll definitely want to check it out. Be sure to book today!
