Stay In Atlantic City, and Play In Their Neighboring Shore Resorts

One of the greatest benefits to the Jersey Shore is the fact that each unique beach resort is right next to one another.  You can have a totally unique experience in whatever shore resort you visit.

Atlantic City has many great entertainment options for you and your family while you are visiting the Jersey Shore.  Besides the casinos, Atlantic City is your destination for major concerts and entertainment.  The biggest shows touring the country will most likely make a stop in Atlantic City.  You also have access to free beaches, an I-Max movie theater, and convenient outlet shopping.  You also have a ton of high end restaurants and nightclubs to choose from.  What if you want more, though?  Here are some of the perks of Atlantic City’s neighboring resorts.

A short drive away from Atlantic City you will find Ocean City, NJ.  Ocean City is known for being a family friendly resort and offers all of the fun you would expect from a NJ beach resort.  Atlantic City may be your destination for golf, but Ocean City is your destination for Miniature Golf.  The boardwalk has several courses to choose from, each with its own theme and flair.  Whether you want indoor or outdoor mini golf, Ocean City has you covered.  They also have two amusement parks and several arcades including both new and classic arcade games for every generation.  You can also enjoy some famous Manco & Manco pizza at one of their three locations on the boardwalk.  After that you may want to pick up some Shriver’s fudge or salt water taffy.  Both are local favorites.

If you don’t mind driving a little bit further, Wildwood and Cape May are right down the parkway.  Wildwood is known for its amusement piers and games of chance.  If you love rides and games, Wildwood may be the best place for you.  They are also famous for having the biggest free beach at the Jersey Shore and the longest boardwalk.  It’s so long they have a tramcar to get you from one end to the other.

Cape May is known for its Victorian charm.  It has a quaint shopping district filled with interesting shops and restaurants.  Stroll the streets full of Victorian architecture, or play a round of mini golf or a game or two in the arcade.  Enjoy some antiquing by the bay or a nice sea food dinner.

With all of their distinct personalities, the Jersey Shore has so many wonderful resorts to offer tourists.  On your stay in Atlantic City take some time to wonder down the coast to experience the unique flavor of each resort.
